The Real Zebra Crossing!

All of us know what a zebra crossing is and it's quite obvious the name derivesfrom the black and white equids famously known as (what else but) the zebra.

The striking black and white stripes are the most distinctive factor in a zebra and it's a fact that the pattern of stripes differs for each zebra (sounds like a unique fingerprint to me)!

Coming back, don't you think the zebra crossings we use have a too-perfect pattern? Straight white stripes on the black tar ground. Nothing like the real zebra!

The above is the theoretically and realistically correct pattern!

Only the Singapore Zoo has the right mind on what a zebra crossing should look like.

Singapore's Land Transport Authority (LTA) should seriously seek the advice from the zoo if they are ever in doubt!!
